Meet the New Mascot of DadToLibbs.com

Back when I was around 7 or so, I had a stuffed animal, like most kids.  I still remember this stuffed animal to this day.  His name was Weebok.  He wore 'Weebok' shoes, had a 'Weebok' cloth diaper, and was what looked to be a lion.  He even came with a back story, which I forgot.

One day, my Dad decided to give Weebok away.  My favorite stuffed animal I ever had, and he gave him away.  A tidbit: I even went so far as to tell my Dad that if I died, I wanted to be buried with Weebok.  Yes, I said that.

Why in the world am I telling you this?  Well, if you can't fathom a guess yet, I'll tell you.  Never forgetting this stuffed animal, I started getting nostalgic a couple years ago.  I looked far and wide for information on Weebok, but found practically nothing.  But a little while later, I found one on eBay.

After three paragraphs, I’m finally getting to point.  Meet the new mascot of DadToLibbs.com, Weebok II:

He will pop in from time to time, possibly popping up in pictures, in random posts, whatever.  So, give him a welcome down in the comments.  He does get lonely the 4 hours a day that I’m asleep, so give him some love.

  2. Stuffed animals are definitely a huge part of childhood, mine included. I think I still have a small bag of stuffed animals somewhere, ranging from a slew of monkeys to a mouse and a rabbit. (Oh, wait. That's just the Build a Bear, er bunny, my friend and I made a few weeks ago. Haha!)

It's amazing what memories different toys can hold. :)

  3. I was terrified of my stuffed animals. They were allowed with me during the day, but locked away at night. lmbo.

  6. Yes, Weebok II. Once I figure out how to put pictures of something on another picture, he'll be in posts more often, in fun ways. But right now, he'll show up every now and then to keep everything in line.

Being scared of a stuffed animal is weird, but hey, what do I know? I hate walking in the dark, because I'm afraid there's a ghost/monster behind me...

  8. I have had my weebok since I was born, 24 years and still going strong! I still sleep with him every night. He is looking worse for wear though, no tail, barely any hair, a replacement ear, and too many nanna repaired holes. Im going to try and post a picture for you :-)
